Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Once a valid DMCA notice is received:
  • The allegedly infringing content may be removed or access to it may be disabled.
  • We may notify the user responsible for the content, providing them an opportunity to file a counter-notification.

Submitting a Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed, you may file a counter-notification with our designated agent. The counter-notice must include:
  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the content that has been removed and its location prior to removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the content was removed in error.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district.
If a valid counter-notification is received, we may restore the content unless we receive notice that the original complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

Policy on Repeat Infringers

DestineyRoxRealEstate.com may terminate user accounts or block access from IP addresses associated with repeat infringement.
