Properties listed as “Under Contract” or “Active Under Contract” have offers which have been accepted, but with conditions and contingencies which have not yet been met. While a listing is in this status, the sellers agent may still be accepting backup offers. Pending typically comes after active under contract, when all conditions have been met and the house is nearing closing.
